PRAYING FOR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN PARTS OF THE WORLD

In many parts of the Muslim world, Christians are encourages to convert to Islam, but it is illegal for Muslims to convert to Christianity. Still, Muslims are finding eternal life in Jesus and passionately following Him in spite of great persecution.
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
*Islam is the dominant religion across North Africa and the Middle East.
*In many Muslim-majority countries, official ID cards state a person's religion, which cannot be changed from Islam to Christianity.
*Arabic is the primary language across this region, but dozens of people groups also speak other languages.
WAYS TO PRAY
1. Pray for increased cooperation among Muslim background church leaders across the region.
2. Pray for effective outreach among refugees and displaced persons affected by conflicts.
3. Pray for protection for new believers from Muslim backgrounds. They often face opposition from their own families and sometimes find it difficult to find housing and employment.
*Pray for unreached people to see God answer their prayers which native workers say is a primary avenue of evangelism.*Pray for creative ways for indigenous Christians to show care for people's needs in unreached communities, such as starting schools, digging wells for clean water, or distributing food to the poor.
