Prayer Corner (November 2022)

Submitted by Joy Grady-von Kleeck

Prayer is a common theme in the Bible. There are many verses and promises about prayer. Down through the years many of you have memorized or become very familiar with these verses. We are encourage to pray for one another.

Since Christmas is soon coming. We will soon be sending and receiving cards, I have shared this before, but I think it is worth sharing again. One of the ways I pray that has been a great blessing to me. I save my Christmas cards, and each week choose a few to pray for that week at meal times. I set the cards on the table to remind me to pray for them as I sit at the table. At Christmas we are so busy and often so many cards arrive at the same time that we don’t always give each card and senders as much attention as we can later in the year. As Christmas rolls around again you will have prayed for all of your family and friends several times.
