Kids in the Meadow (KitM) enjoyed a successful run this summer. Average attendance of students was in the seventies with about 25 volunteers also participating each week. KitM is sponsored by Reach Yorktown Ministries and area churches. We had a number of volunteers helping from YMC including: Laura Ayers, Barb Baker, Vicki Brinson, Mary Jo Estep, Gayle Gernand, Judy Gernand, Brenda Olson, Cindy Sollars, and Sierra Spangler. Thank you also to those who provided the food, sacks, and napkins and to Louise Luke, Judy St. John, Gayle Gernand, Pastor Leffler, and Lance and Mary Jo Estep for packing 100 sack lunches for the June 5th meeting.
