Christmas Baskets

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like . . . Christmas Baskets 2021

A quick look down stairs will show that the food collection is well underway. We received an especially large donation from Yorktown Elementary this year, along with several bags from the Yorktown Library with a total yield of 3,800 items. We are grateful for the community support and so blessed to be able to share this to those in need. The church will be adding ham, potatoes, fresh produce, milk, eggs, and bread to complete the baskets.

Canned and boxed foods are being collected through December 5th. Suggested needs are: pancake mix & syrup, cereal, mac & cheese, corn muffin mix, hamburger helper, canned fruit, cake mix & frosting, peanut butter & jelly, pasta & pasta sauce. Tables are set up in the room next to Fellowship Hall for donations. Please put any donations on the middle tables. Financial donations are also appreciated. Just remember to mark it on your offering envelope.
Covid Protocol will be followed like we did last year, and we will not be hosting the special breakfasts we used to have in the past. The baskets (boxes) will be filled by church volunteers sometime prior to Saturday, December 18th, our delivery date. The Boy Scouts are assisting with a staggered delivery and pick-up again this year.
