CELEBRATION CENTER 

Families like to celebrate, and our church family is no exception. We want to help you recognize the special days of new babies, retirements, new jobs, special anniversaries, graduations, etc. We need your help though. Please send pictures and information to ggernand@gmail.com for the newsletter by the 15th of the month before you would like to see it shared with our church family. 

CONGRATULATIONS, SENIOR MICKALA LEFFLER 

Mickala Leffler will be graduating from Shenandoah High School in May. She is the daughter of Matthew and Tracey Leffler, and sister of Matt Leffler. Mickala has been very active at Shenandoah. She plays the flute in the band, manages the wrestling and track teams, serves on the Student Council and SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving), and is captain of the the Speech and Debate Team. At YMC Mickala is often seen assisting worship by sharing her musical talents, and ringing the handbells. She is heading to Spain for six weeks immediately following graduation to study Spanish and be immersed with the language and culture. In the fall she will be attending Ball State University and seek a double major in Spanish and Deaf Education.

MUSIC NOTES 

YMC has very blessed with some awesome music! Easter Sunday provided a very special opportunity to worship and praise God with our special guests from Landon and Morgan''s family, our choir, bell choir, organist, instrumentalists, and director of music. Matt Leffler has recently been providing some fantastic rhythm pieces to enhance the service, too. It is worth crowding to the front of the sanctuary, to see this young man in action. We are so grateful for all of our worship team!
