Plans are underway for the annual Christmas baskets in a Covid friendly manner again this year. This Yorktown library is collecting food items for us in October through November 5th. Yorktown Elementary and Yorktown Middle School are also collecting for us to deliver to those in need. Donations will be picked up on November 11th.

Your help is needed to insure that we have ample amounts to share. The library and Yorktown Elementary & Yorktown Middle School normally provide plenty of green beans, corn, peas and mixed vegetables. Suggested items for our church family to donate are: pancake mix & syrup, cereal, mac & cheese, corn muffin mix, hamburger helper, canned fruit, cake mix & frosting, peanut butter & jelly, pasta & pasta sauce. Tables are set up in the room next to Fellowship Hall for donations. Please put any donations on the middle tables. Financials donations are also appreciated. Just remember to mark it on your offering envelope or the November Communion Offering.

The baskets (boxes) will be filled by church volunteers and scouts sometime prior to Saturday, December 17th, our delivery date. The scouts are assisting with a staggered delivery and pick-up again this year.
