July Leadership Council Meeting Notes

The Leadership Council met on July 11, 2023. Pastor Matthew opened the meeting with a devotion from Jeremiah 32:17. 

Topics discussed:

  • New signs identifying the church as Yorktown Methodist Church will be in place in August in front of the sanctuary and by Fellowship Hall.
  • LifeStreams Senior Café's had an average of 11 people in attendance for July.
  • Kids in the Meadows averaged 70 to 80 kids in attendance on Monday evenings in June. The YMC provided the meals on June 5th.
  • Outdoor carpet has been ordered to replace the existing front entrance and side entrance by the pastor's office.
  • A new air conditioner was purchased for pastor's office.
  • We are planning to fix cracks in the parking lot.
