Dr. Bill Heth will explore the topic of how to make disciples (Matt. 28:18-20) by means of relational evangelism. He currently teaches Koine Greek and New Testament at Taylor University. He was twice named “Professor of the Year.” Before coming to Taylor, he served as a campus missionary in Washington D.C. with Cru (aka Campus Crusade for Christ), then trained future pastors how to share their faith while in seminary. Bill’s passion is to see lives set free through the Gospel.
Pastor Evan Guse is Lead Pastor at Pierce Church (also known as Upland United Methodist Church). He will share from his experience in communicating the Gospel of Jesus to youth and young families. Evan and his wife, Emma, have two young children. A fearless communicator of the Word, he pastors a church that is over 100 years old yet has an active youth program. In a town of around 3,800, Pierce Church has been averaging around 365 weekly attenders.
Dr. Faye Chechowich will help us better understand and interact with those from the Baby Boomer era. Born to parents who ministered in Australia for many years, she is Professor Emeritus of Christian Ministries at Taylor University. Because of her outstanding teaching skills, she was appointed director of faculty development at Taylor. Her Ph.D. is in Educational Psychology from Indiana University. Her scholarly research includes ministry by and for those beyond age 55.
