We live in a world that honors those who live for their own glory. Persons who are overtly proud bordering on being arrogant. Persons who love to “toot their own horns” and actively work to increase their “importance.” Our culture teaches us to look out for number one. 

And yet, God calls us to something more. In order for you to receive Christ as your Savior, you must allow God to be in control. You need to humbly acknowledge that you need God. You need God’s guidance and love.
